What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Pet Island (RTÉ 2, 7.30pm)

A new series of the documentary kicks off tonight – and it’s set to feature all sorts of cute, like the sick ferret in Castlebar that attends a photoshoot, the couple from Kildare that prepare their dogs to be entered in a competition, and a pug from Belfast becomes an internet celebrity. YES. #PetIsland

Zig and Zag (RTÉ jr, 5.45pm)

Yes, the two lads are back – and this time they’re animated. There has been a fair bit of anticipation about this new show, so it will be interesting and a little nostalgic to see them back on the box again. #ZigandZag

Shaun of the Dead (ITV2, 9pm)

There’s worse ways to spend a Tuesday night than reliving this Simon Pegg classic – the first of the three lauded Cornetto trilogy. Zombies rise from graves and the cream of British and Irish comedy are tasked with stopping them. Class.
