What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Raised by Wolves (Channel 4, 10pm)

Caitlin Moran’s excellent comedy returns for its second series tonight. Written with her sister Caroline, it reimagines their childhood on an English council estate with gas results. If you start tonight, it’ll probably be appointment telly by the time the series ends. #RaisedbyWolves

Reality Bites: The Fighting Irish (RTÉ 2, 10.50pm)

A repeat of last year’s look into the ever-expanding world of Irish MMA – and how it’s not all about a certain Conor McGregor. The Reality Bites documentary takes a look at the scene around the country, meeting different fighters and finding out where their love for the sport came from. #RealityBites

The Restaurant (TV3, 9pm)

It’s former Irish soccer star Kevin Kilbane’s turn to feel the heat in the Dublin kitchen. Things might get tense as he tries to impress Marco Pierre White – but he knows if he totally fecks it up, he always has the football punditry to go back to. #TheRestaurant

Everybody’s talking about… the new character in House of Cards played by Neve Campbell

House of Cards is back on Netflix this Friday – and there’s a new character on the way, played by Neve Campbell of Scream fame.

As The Guardian explains, she has quite a central role to play too:

In House of Cards, she plays Leann Harvey, a hard-boiled, ambitious, Democratic fund-raiser sucked into the Machiavellian vortex of President Frank Underwood and his no-less-power-crazed wife Claire, played by Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

Ooooh interesting.

And people can’t wait

Just another reason to stick with it
