What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Seven Women (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)
A docudrama about the women at the heart of the 1916 Rising premieres on RTÉ One tonight – and it looks like it could be very good. The women profiled include Constance Markievicz, sniper Margaret Skinnider, actress Helena Molony and nurse Aoife de Búrca. Of all the 1916 programmes so far, this could be the best of the bunch. #SevenWomen
The Voice of Ireland (RTÉ One, 6.30pm)
The first of the live knockout rounds begin tonight. Kian Egan, Bressie, Rachel Stevens and Una Foden are all in the judging chairs as things really start to heat up. Who’ll make it through to the quarter-finals? #VoiceofIreland
The FAI International Awards (RTÉ 2, 8pm)
The Oscars for Irish soccer is on live tonight. Expect some nice highlights packages and, of course, soccer players dressed in tuxes. The most prestigious prize is the Senior International Player of the Year Award – and that’ll bring with it some chatter. #FAIAwards
