What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
Strictly Come Dancing – The Launch Show (BBC One, 7.15pm)
It’s finally here. Strictly is back and with it comes Wee Daniel into the lives of people across the water. What will they make of him? How mortifying will it be? It all starts tonight with the launch show – and while the dancers won’t be performing individually, we’ll get an idea of how this is all going to play out. #Strictly
Electric Picnic 2015 (RTÉ 2, 9pm)
If you can’t make it along this weekend, surely the next best thing is to watch it all from the comfort of your own home. Here, Jenny Greene and Eoghan McDermott present live coverage from Stradbally. The highlights are bound to be Maniac 2000 and Blur, but all the other acts looks top notch as well. #ElectricPicnic
Up for the Match (RTÉ One, 9.50pm)
Grainne Seoige and Des Cahill present the GAA’s annual version of The Late Late Show ahead of the All Ireland hurling final tomorrow. Expect county colours, craic-based interviews and some very traditional music. #UpForTheMatch

It’s the big story, no doubt. The Telegraph reports that there are plans afoot for Republic-based fans of Wee Daniel to make their way across the border to cast their vote.
Die-hard fans, assemble.
