What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
My Worst Job (Channel 4, 10pm)
Celebrities reminisce about their fumbling attempts at career progression and the times they tried to be taken seriously in the workplace as grown-ups worthy of respect. The highlight will probably be Jimmy Carr talking about his previous job in the oil industry. Starting at the bottom, eh?
Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (RTÉ 2, 9pm)
It never hits the heights of the first installment, but if you’re a fan of Elle Woods that doesn’t really matter too much. Our hero heads for DC to put a stop to the testing of cosmetics on animals – and proves she’s up for the fight in a series of increasingly difficult battles.
Horizon: Sports Doping – Winning at Any Cost? (BBC Two, 8pm)
This doc investigates the world of performance-enhancing drugs, “revealing the extraordinary gamble athletes take with their health to gain an advantage in their sport”. The hour long programme is part of the Horizon series, so you can be sure it’ll be in-depth and impartial – it’s bound to provide plenty of talking points with the Olympics just around the corner.
Everyone’s talking about… HBO has officially announced that Game of Thrones is returning next summer
And it will be for just seven episodes.
That’s later than the normal April premiere and, of course, less episodes than the usual 10.
Entertainment Weekly notes that Northern Ireland will continue as a primary location spot:
Can’t wait.
