The Secret Life of Brothers and Sisters (Channel 4, 8pm)
This documentary explores what it’s like to be a youngest sibling, including “how they assert their independence around dominant older brothers and sisters.” Ah yes, the youngest sibling rebellion. Scientists actually analyse children’s behaviour together on a holiday camp site to see what they can discover about the babas of the family.
The Impossible (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
The midweek movie sees Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor’s family get caught up in the 2004 tsunami while on a trip to Thailand. This is a pretty highly-rated drama and definitely a solid choice for a quiet Wednesday night in.
Man Down (Channel 4, 10pm)
The third series of this British comedy is just getting started – and it’s most notable for starring Greg Davies of The Inbetweneers fame. GILBERT.
Everyone’s talking about… Making A Murderer is coming back for a second series
OH. YES.
As Vulture reports, it’s set to cover Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey’s appeals:
The new installments will resume the story of convicted murderer Avery and his co-defendant, Brendan Dassey, in the high-stakes and emotional post-conviction process, as their ”respective investigative and legal teams challenge their convictions and the state fights to have the convictions and life sentences upheld.”
