What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

This is the TV everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 10.35pm)

It’s a truly stellar lineup tonight, with some Irish interest thrown in for good measure. Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell are on to discuss their big-screen horror-thriller The Killing of a Sacred Deer, while Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston reflects on his UK stage debut at London’s National Theatre in Network. Rounding out the guest list is Jane Fonda and comedian Matt Lucas. As a bonus, Niall Horan is in the house with his latest single Too Much to Ask. Not bad at all.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Guests include Mrs Brown’s Boys star Brendan O’Carroll, who gives his take on Donald Trump and explains what it was like to find himself in the eye of the storm as Hurricane Irma swept through Florida. Dublin footballer Philly McMahon will also be in, as well as a discussion on the “state of the nation” with politician Fidelma Healy Eames, journalist Kitty Holland and columnist Terry Prone.

Prisoners (Tv3, 9pm)

Two young girls go missing in Pennsylvania over the Thanksgiving holidays, and suspicion initially falls on Alex Jones, a young man with apparent learning difficulties, who was spotted near the children’s last known location. When no evidence of wrongdoing is found, Jones is freed from custody, but the distraught father of one of the missing youngsters is not convinced of Jones’ innocence, and kidnaps him in the hope of extracting a confession by force. Thriller, starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano.

Everyone's talking about: Peaky Blinders is removing The Weinstein Company from its credits

As The Hollywood Reporter explained today, The Weinstein Company has a credit at the end of the show because of a deal it brokered which allowed Netflix to run it in the US, even though they have never been involved in production:

The Netflix series is removing a production card for The Weinstein Co. in the wake of the scandal facing the company's now-former co-chairman, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
While not credited as a producer on the drama, TWC brokered the deal for Netflix to carry the show in the U.S., which is why a presentation card for TWC appeared on the series.

It seems like every few hours there is another development in the scandal, the latest being Emma Thompson's blistering TV interview on the BBC last night.
