The Restaurant (TV 3, 9pm)

Actress and former Dancing With the Stars contestant Aoibhin Garrihy is in the kitchen. She is challenged with making a menu including French dishes for Marco Pierre White and other critics. Eh good luck with that.

Liverpool v Manchester City (RTE 2, 7pm)

Hey, it’s Wednesday evening, you’ve almost made it through the week, grab a beer and watch some football. You deserve it, kinda.

Everybody’s talking about… The Celebrity Great British Bake Off

Aisling Bea was in the tent last night, along with some other celebrity bakers baking in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

How did she get on? Well, let’s just say Irish people were very proud, despite her manky custard.

First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm) The UK version is back with a brand new series.
