The TV3/RTÉ rivalry has reached dazzling new heights

Nothing to see here.

THIS AFTERNOON, TV3 launched its autumn schedule in the National Concert Hall.

Among other things, they revealed details of new series like Gogglebox (yes, it’s finally coming!) and a new current affairs programme hosted by Pat Kenny and Colette Fitzpatrick.

Inside the doors of the National Concert Hall, there was evidence of TV3′s heated rivalry with RTÉ. The National Concert Hall, you see, is home of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and has signage all over the venue indicating as much.

Unwilling to have RTÉ’s branding on display at their launch, TV3 decided to straight up cover all mentions of RTÉ with a piece of paper.

Like so:

Nothing to see here. Just some strategically placed bits of blank paper is all.

No really, nothing to see here. Head into the stallaí, will you?
