Tweet hunt: Win tickets to Electric Picnic

ESB Electric Ireland has launched a competition giving would-be festival goers the chance to win tickets to Electric Picnic – using a Facebook App, Live Google Map and combined tweets.

IF YOU FANCY bagging yourself a ticket – or five – to this year’s Electric Picnic festival then you might just be in luck…

Kicking off today, the ESB Electric Ireland Tweet Hunt competition will see five would-be festival goers win five tickets every day for five days - using a Facebook App with Live Google Map and combined tweets to reveal five secret locations around Ireland where tickets are hidden.

The Tweet Hunt began today, Monday, and will continue until this Friday, 22 August.

To find the secret locations, participants simply need to tweet #Sharetheenergy. The more the hashtag is tweeted, the closer the map will zoom into where the tickets are hidden. Then, a special code word is revealed along with the exact details of the secret location where the Electric Ireland Sparkheads are waiting with the tickets.

Once you have the location details all participants need to do is use the mobile version of the map to the location to find the hidden Sparkhead and collect their tickets – but you have to hurry, because it’s first come, first served.
