ASHTON KUTCHER AND Demi Moore are a true “Twitter couple”.

Both husband and wife regularly tweet about their daily lives and share photos of themselves with their fans… which can sometimes stray into the questionably intimate.

The pair joined up to the micro-blogging site last year and have been avid users since then, letting their followers get updates and personally interact with them. And they certainly have enough followers – at the time of writing, Kutcher had 5,850,674 followers and Moore had 3,086,232.

Kutcher has commented to the press that one of the reasons that he like Twitter so much is that it reduces the market for paparazzi photographs. The actor says that by using Twitter, he can have a sense of control over the media machine.

He said:

The immediacy of it (Twitter) is great. The connection people have with each other and the pool of individuals out there. It’s a beautiful environment. You can take the control back in your relationship with the media. You can dictate your own view. My ability to self-publish has resulted in a big reduction in strangers following me around with cameras.

That could be one reason why Moore posted a photo of the couple celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary, looking loved-up in bed and watching TV, on Monday: the photo comes just after a 21-year-old woman alleged that she had slept with Kutcher. He denies the claim.

Moore’s message on the anniversary photo read:

Thank you for all the anniversary wishes!! Enjoying a day lounging around watching Breaking Bad Great show!

If they aimed to make a comment on the state of their marriage, we think the message is pretty clear.

Another tweet that raised some eyebrows (a couple of million, should we say) was posted by Kutcher last year when he tweeted a photo of his wife bending over in a white bikini.

Perhaps he’s taking this ‘beating the paparazzi at their own game’ thing a bit too seriously…
