This Irish student's Swedish doppelganger flew to Dublin to meet her
WE’VE ALL HEARD the stories of the spookily accurate Twin Strangers meet ups.
Twin Strangers Twin Strangers
This Wexford student found and subsequently met her absolute mirror image on the social network, and founder Niamh Geaney has found more than she can count on one finger at this stage.
The latest pair separated at birth are Sara and Shannon, who need to start asking their dads a few questions.
Sara, a 17-year-old from Sweden, said her friends thought Shannon Lonergan, 21 from County Kerry, was actually her when they saw photos.
She travelled to Dublin to meet Shannon in person, delivering some of the most baffling photos we’ve seen yet.
Shannon said she gave her a hug then just stood there saying “Oh my God, this is so weird”.
The pair found each other through doppelganger social network, Twin Strangers, which encourages people to sign up to find others across the world that look identical to them.
