Twitter-stalking just got more dangerous, thanks to the new homepage

Be careful out there.

HAVE YOU NOTICED that the layout of Twitter’s web homepage has changed?

The ‘What’s happening?’ bar for writing tweets used to be on the right, above the Trends section. But it’s not there anymore.

Instead, it’s over above your Twitter feed itself.

As with all layout changes, this is causing a certain amount of confusion and bewilderment among Twitter users.

Why can't they leave Twitter alone? What is the point of having the new post box at the top when there's all this space at the sides?

But the most important difference is that the bar to post tweets and the search bar are now EXTREMELY near to each other.

I think Twitter have deliberately moved the tweet box to the top so people are even more likely to confuse it with the search bar.
