James Corden has joined the Twitter support as two Irish women live-tweet their abortion journey

The women set out at 4.30am this morning.

TV HOST JAMES CORDEN has joined the voices lending support to two Irish women live-tweeting their journey to seek an abortion.

The women are anonymously charting their trip to the UK today under the Twitter handle @TwoWomenTravel, addressing the tweets to Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

They hit the road at around 4.30am this morning, arriving in the UK just under an hour ago.

The account has received a great deal of support, both in Ireland and abroad, trending in the UK after being featured in an article on The Guardian website:
