ON MONDAY, UMA Thurman turned up at the premiere of her new miniseries The Slap looking, according to some reports, “almost unrecognisable”.
And you have to admit, she does look a little different.
Last year, Renée Zellweger was the subject of plastic surgery rumours when she too stepped out looking “unrecognisable” at a red carpet event.
In an interview with People Magazine, the actress said that she looked different because she was living a “happy, more fulfilling life”, adding: “People don’t know me in my 40s.”
Just as they did with Zellweger, people immediately started speculating as to whether 44-year-old Thurman has had plastic surgery:

To our highly trained eyes, it appears that Uma had just chosen to forego mascara and eye makeup for the night. Either way, she still looks fantastic.
