The couple, who began dating in 2008 and share two children together, were unsurprisingly the subject of intense media scrutiny in the weeks following the announcement.
As rumours circulated that Ben had been unfaithful, Una returned to her native Tipperary and did not engage in much public discussion surrounding the demise of her relationship, except to tell Hello magazine that her world had been ‘turned upside down’.

And now months on from the split, the former Saturdays singer has been photographed with California-based model Kenneth ‘KP’ Guidroz.
Last week, Kenneth shared two photos of himself and Una on his Instagram account alongside the caption ‘Behind the scenes’.
Naturally, Una’s followers delighted in the idea that a new romance was burgeoning, but as the singer herself had yet to say anything, the public wondered whether it might just be a professional relationship.
And with nada from Una, fans were only dying for a hint, but none came.
Unless you count the picture she uploaded of herself where she credited Kenneth for his photography skills, that is.
And then there was this one too.
But then, prior to Una’s departure from the States, she and Kenneth, who just turned 34, were spotted walking hand in hand in Malibu.
Hand in hand, people; the confirmation everyone needed that the relationship was indeed the romantic kind.
Kenneth, whose Twitter bio also describes him as an actor and father, has modelled for the likes of Ralph Lauren, and has caused Una’s fans and followers to lose the run of themselves in recent days.
“Una for the win!” wrote one in response to Kenneth’s upload while another added: “My girl don’t mess about! Get in there Miss Healy.”
Awkwardly for Una’s ex, Ben, he’s being unfavourably compared to Kenneth, with one Instagram user calling Kenneth a ‘big improvement’ on the rugby player.
