ON MONDAY, we had the dad who was happy to dress up as Elsa to bring his daughter to a Frozen singalong.
Now, we have Jesse Nagy from Michigan, who wore a princess gown to the cinema just so his niece Izzy would feel comfortable wearing hers.
This picture Jesse and Izzy went viral after a member of staff shared it on Reddit:
Nagy said that he had planned a ‘princess day’ for Izzy, including a trip to see Cinderella at the cinema. But Izzy was embarrassed about wearing her princess gown outside – so he decided to dress up too.
He told ABC News:
She’s like my mini-me. I really wanted to spend time with her, so I said, “Let’s go have a princess day.”
She said, “You could be a princess too.” We made the trade-off and I said, “OK, we can both be princesses,” but she had to have the crown.
“If it’s going to make her happy, I’ll do it. I don’t care,” he added.
