The 'Unpopular Opinion' Twitter thread has gotten the Irish treatment
WE’VE ALL FALLEN foul of a moment when we foolishly thought it appropriate to air our controversial opinion with others, only to find ourselves mentally blacklisted by all present.
Now, don’t get us wrong, we’re not talking anything too outrageous here… depending on your viewpoint, of course.
No, no, we’re recalling that time you revealed you poured the milk into your cereal bowl first, admitted you hated Fairytale of New York and didn’t cry when Mufasa died – you know, the classics.
And as we all know, Twitter is mad for that craic, but Irish Twitter users are even more into it, with a recent thread on unpopular opinions getting the ‘Irish edition’ treatment.
So brace yourselves lads, because you may find yourself getting a little hot under the collar at the highly controversial opinions held by your fellow countrymen of the place we call home and the characteristics we hold dear.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Sorry now, but we’re really going to have to leave it there.
