UPC is trialling changes to the Horizon Box. HALLELUJAH!
THOSE OF YOU who have felt the pain of trying to delete a large amount of content from your UPC Horizon Box* will be interested in this.
The company is beginning a trial process with a small number of customers which will include testing a ‘delete series’ option.
At the moment customers can only frustratingly delete one episode at a time, while an ominous ‘DELETE EVERYTHING’ option will actually wipe everything from their box. There is no in-between.
In an email to users UPC has also said that a ‘skip-by-day’ option is being considered for the TV Guide, removing the need to manually scroll through hours of schedules.
Improvements to the management of Favourites is also being trialled.
Customers can opt to sign up for the trial in order to access the new features ahead of the masses.
And now, as you’re probably already singing it in your head, here’s the song from the UPC Horizon ad. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
