Urban Decay are discontinuing the Naked palette so they decided to give it a funeral

(Almost) gone, but not forgotten.

DEARLY BELOVED, WE are gathered here today to pay our respects to the Urban Decay Naked palette.

The OG neutral palette has been the top dog of the beauty world since 2010, but now, the brand are bidding it goodbye.

“Saying goodbye to Naked is extremely bittersweet,” said Wende Zomnir, founding partner of Urban Decay.

It was a big moment in our history. It’s a little painful to leave your past behind, but it’s also essential to always evolve. I will forever miss Naked, but we plan to turn the grief into even more greatness. Urban Decay will continue to thrive in Naked’s memory and honor—just wait and see.”

UD decided to give it a proper send off, with Nicole Richie and beauty gurus Kandee Johnson and Chrisspy all paying their respects.

Richie said in her eulogy: “Everyone has tried to copy you but no one has been able to capture your true essence.”

Never fear! The palette’s other reiterations – Naked 2, Naked 3, Naked Heat, etc. – aren’t going anywhere, so you can still get your neutral fix.

Rest in peace x
