US Airways apologises after tweeting very explicit pornographic photo

US AIRWAYS HAS apologised after one of its official Twitter accounts posted an extremely graphic pornographic photo.
The image was tweeted in a response to a customer who complained that her flight was delayed.
The exchange began like this:
The airline replied, and the traveller complained again:
In response, the US Airways account posted a tweet with a graphic photo showing a woman performing an explicit act with a model of an aeroplane.
This image, distorted to conceal the photo, is taken from a retweet of the original:
The airline has since apologised and said it is investigating the incident.

The image was posted in the form of a link to another tweet, which had been directed at American Airlines earlier in the day.
Buzzfeed reports that it had recently been trending in a notorious NSFW area of Reddit, and originated on a so-called ‘revenge-porn’ site based in Germany.
