According to Bloomberg, Goop advertised that the three products would balance hormones, regulate menstrual cycles and improve bladder control – claims which have been disputed, and included in a lawsuit against the company.
And this week it has been confirmed that Goop has agreed to stop making the aforementioned claims, pay a $145,000 settlement and refund customers who bought any of the three products, which range in price from $22 to $66, between January and August last year.
