Ever wondered why that ill-fated Spice Girls reunion tour between 2007 and 2008 was cut short? Well, you can blame Elton John for that – at least, partially.

While on their US leg of the tour, Victoria Beckham went to see her pal Elton in Vegas and realised she didn’t have the passion that he did.

She explained: “I was with Elton John this weekend and I told him: ‘You’re the reason why I stopped the Spice Girls.’

I remember sitting there very near to the front and looking at him singing those songs he’d sung time after time, year after year, and his passion and his enjoyment was incredible, even after all that time.”

Ariana Grande returned to social media yesterday, without acknowledging rumours that herself and Pete Davidson have called it a day.

The singer took to Twitter to announce that she’ll be part of the 15th anniversary celebrations of musical Wicked.

Sharing a script that showed she’ll be performing song The Wizard and I, she said: “honoured to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favorite musical of all time wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe #wicked15″.

Sophie Kasaei could be facing the sack from Geordie Shore after punching fellow castmate Sam Gowland in the face.

Discussing what really happened for the first time during the wild night out in Benidorm, Sophie admitted she “regretted” her actions, while Sam revealed that it was a “full on punch”.

“I got so irate and I snapped and obviously I regret it,” she said.

I’m very protective over Chloe though she’s like my little sister. I was angry because he was upsetting her and I thought she deserved better. He said I was just jealous and I totally lost it.

“I got punished because you can’t show violence.”
