This may be the best insult you'll ever hear

…and it was said by Boris Johnson.

WE’RE PRETTY GOOD at the auld insults here at DailyEdge.ie. (Only when we need to be, of course.)

However, even at our most creative we would not have come up with something as good as ‘great supine protoplasmic invertebrate jellies’.

That is exactly what Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, called some of his colleagues in the London Assembly earlier this year.

The incident happened a few months ago, but we couldn’t resist sharing the video with you when it popped up again this morning.
