Seriously. This is an actual thing that happened

MINDING SOMEONE’S PET when they’re on holiday is a big responsibility, so you can imagine the terror you might feel if an animal died on your watch.

That’s what happened to Lisa Kilbourne-Smith while she was looking after Tink the hamster while her friends were away.

Or at least, that’s what she thought had happened. As it turned out, Tink was capable of digging herself out of her grave.
