Twitter campaign to get Vincent Browne Song to #1 for charity

SO YOU REMEMBER the Vincent Browne song, right?

Don’t tell us you’ve forgotten already. It’s an inspired masterpiece by songwriter Derek Flynn.

Well, it’s back. Or rather, it hasn’t gone away. And it’s now the subject of a Twitter campaign to get it to number one, with 50 per cent of the profits going to depression charity Aware.

Who chose the charity? The production team of Vincent Browne themselves, according to Flynn.

The topic was still trending this morning, but the tune hasn’t quite reached its goal yet – edged out in the iTunes Ireland chart by Daft Punk.
