Vogue has come under fire for saying Zayn and Gigi are 'gender fluid' because they share each other's clothes
YESTERDAY, VOGUE MAGAZINE released its August issue featuring pop culture power couple Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik on the front cover.
Look at them there:
But while the cover is winning praise for its pure aesthetic goodness, it’s the article inside that’s come in for some serious criticism overnight.
It’s headlined: “Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Are Part of a New Generation Embracing Gender Fluidity”
Vogue Vogue
And the gender fluidity in the headline appears to be derived from this passage where the couple talk about sharing each other’s clothes:
It was quickly pointed out that gender fluid is about not identifying as having a fixed gender, not sharing your other half’s clothes

And so many people on Twitter have called out the article and the headline given the content of the interview
