A NORTH OF ENGLAND bookshop claims to have kick-started the revival of an old WWII poster, spawning multiple copies and parodies.
Barter Books says it discovered a copy of the now-iconic WWII ‘Keep Calm and Carry on’ poster amongst a box of old books bought at auction and put it on display in the store.
The image proved so popular with visitors to the bookshop that it began selling reproductions:
