Watch it: Friday at the movies
EVERY FRIDAY AFTERNOON,TheJournal.ie presents an award-winning short film for you to enjoy as you ease into the weekend.
This week: Jelly Baby
Jelly Baby is the story of a young couple’s travails with their new baby who just won’t stop crying. Once a week Jack takes the baby downtown, away from Jill for a few precious hours. Sitting on a park bench, feeling like the oldest 22-year-old in the world, Jack can’t imagine his life will ever be normal again. When a quieter baby is parked next to his own, Jack is left with an interesting dilemma.
This RTE/Filmbase short was a winner of an IFTA and the Tiernan McBride award at the Galway Film Fleadh.
