THE US SPACE Shuttle Atlantis meets the International Space Station for the final time this afternoon.
The historic docking of the last ever shuttle mission took place at 4.07pm Irish time – and Nasa have thoughtfully arranged a live stream of continuing updates from the ISS for viewers at home.
The stream shows a combination of still and video images of Atlantis flying over the earth shot from the International Space Station, as well as scenes at Nasa HQ. And it’s even accompanied by a helpful commentary for those of us without a working knowledge of space travel…
