YES, WE KNOW, it’s Monday morning. So here’s a little something to cheer you up – a stunning time-lapse video of Earth, as seen from the International Space Station.
City lights, the aurora borealis, snowy wastes and lightning strikes are among the spectacles captured in the clip, which was compiled by film-maker Michael König from sequences of photographs taken by astronauts aboard the ISS.
And you know what? Seen from that far away, our planet is pretty beautiful…
