Watch: the Irish woman who brought one X Factor judge to tears

Michelle Barrett wowed judges with her performance on last night’s programme.

AN IRISH CONTESTANT on the X Factor moved one of the show’s judges to tears with her performance last night.

Michelle Barrett, a mother-of-four from Leixlip in Co Kildare, performed a version of the Whitney Houston song ‘All The Man I Need’ that left N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos weeping as the judge later explained the song reminded her of her mother.

Barrett’s performance got the judges’ seal of approval and the 31-year-old was easily voted through to the next round of the competition.

Today’s Sunday Mirror reveals that Barrett has already had a taste of stardom as an underwear model, winning a place on Ultimo’s Real Woman campaign earlier this year.

The paper reports that pictures of Barrett in bra and knickers were on billboards across the UK and Ireland.

It’s likely we’ll be seeing a lot more of her based on this performance last night:
