WHIPLASH IS BEING talked up as one of the best movies of the year. It was released in these parts last week – and it’s safe to say that everyone is loving it.

The movie focuses on a young jazz drummer – played by Miles Teller – and his enrolment in a top music school under the tutelage of J.K Simmons’ tyrannical head jazz teacher.

If you haven’t seen it yet, prepare yourself for these reactions:

1. J.K Simmons is terrifying
