What to watch on TV tonight: Bank Holiday Monday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Snapper (RTÉ 1, 9.30pm)

If it’s on TV, we have to watch it. That’s an Irish rule. Stave off the Bank Holiday Fear with a rewatching of this classic movie about a young woman with a massive Dublin family and her quest to keep the father secret. Based on the novel by Roddy Doyle.

University Challenge (BBC 2, 8pm)

The second of the loser matches, we mean, the winning-losers. Can’t get your head around that? University Challenge is going to be a… challenge.

Scream Queens (E4, 10pm)

This is a new series from the States and an absolute must-watch. It’s based around an American sorority Kappa Kappa Tau, that previously suffered a tragedy during a party in 1995, but has since bounced back. A killer strikes at the 20th anniversary party, and all hell breaks loose. If you like your comedy way dark, this is your new series.
