What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Christmas Toy Show (TV3, 8pm)
The Toy Show wars begin in earnest tonight with TV3 broadcasting their incarnation tonight. Hosted by Brian McFadden and Karen Koster, the show will follow the traditional formula – toy reviews, special guests and requisite Jedward appearance. TV3 reportedly have a midwife on standby in case Koster goes into labour on the show, so you know. It might be exciting. #ToyShow
The Late Late Show (RTE, 9.30pm)
The line-up is pretty impressive on The Late Late Show tonight with Sinéad O’Connor, Alexa Chung and Dara O’Briain all joining Ryan. Sinéad O’Connor will reportedly the role of hostess and interview Ryan on the show, which should be, er, interesting. (Insert Ryan and The Cobra pun here.)
The Graham Norton Show (BBC1, 11.05pm)
Finally, Norton’s couch is pretty star-studded tonight with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman on hand to talk up Horrible Bosses 2, along with Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman’s appearance comes just a day after the death of The Graduate’s director Mike Nichols, so maybe expect a tribute there.

The reality star was slated to guest star on India’s Big Brother this weekend, but has had to cancel the appearance. The reason for the cancellation? A visa issue, according to Reuters.
Kardashian was due to appear on Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother, on Saturday night as she continues to promote her new fragrance. She apologised to fans last night, saying:
Kardashian would not be the first Western celebrity to appear on Bigg Boss. Pamela Anderson appeared on the show in 2010. The series is watched by over 150 million people.
