Here's what to watch on TV tonight: Friday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The brand spanking new Late Late Show (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm)
The Late Late Show studio has had itself a makeover, and all will be unveiled tonight. Tubs said back in August that he would be having huge input into the design, and it will finally implement a SOFA. Guests–which will each be asked what they think of said set in what will no doubt be hilarious #banter–include Michael O’Leary, Nicky Byrne, Apprentice candidate Roisin Hogan, alternative medicine advocate Deepak Chopra, and Irish boxer Andy Lee.
Hozier on The Graham Norton Show (BBC 1, 10.35pm)
Such is Meryl Streep’s range, when she appears on the Graham Norton show tonight she will be playing the role of the red chair. There will also be an appearance from Scottish actor James McAvoy, Mark Ruffalo, and music from our very own Hozier. Isn’t he doing great altogether.
France Under Attack (TV 3, 7.30pm)
The violent attack on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris this week sent shockwaves all over the world. France Under Attack will document the events and detail who is responsible, with some background as to why the horrific attack was carried out.
Everybody’s talking about The Guarantee
The Irish TV premier on The Guarantee on TV 3 last night ruffled a few feathers. Peter Coonan starred in the film which depicted that faithful night when the Irish government decided to guarantee the banking system.
For a lot, it was just a painful reminder of what went down. It DID go down, didn’t it?
Did you watch? What did you think?
Or flick over for…
Zombieland (RTÉ 2, 9pm) Quirky comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg as a student trying to reach his family in Ohio through an America taken over by zombies.
Enough (TV 3, 9pm) Ashes from the ruin of JLO’s foray into acting. It’s actually not bad, with Lopez playing a woman on the run from an abusive husband.
Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast (Channel 4, 8pm) The chef cooks with Tinie Tempah. LOL.
8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4, 9pm) A new series of the always funny show.
