What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Late Late Show (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm)
Ah, lonely the Friday night ritual. Tonight you will be snidely tweeting about guests Richard E Grant, who we hear is releasing a new perfume. Makes perfect sense. Joining him in the studio will be Gabriel Byrne and Christine Bleakley, the TV presenter and fianceé of footballer Frank Lampard.
The Graham Norton Show (BBC 1, 10.40pm)
It’s basically an Avengers extravaganza tonight, with guesses Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen taking to the couch for some hashtag bants and craic. Last Leg host Josh Widdicombe will also be on, and Blur will perform in studio.
Alan Carr, Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm)
Alan’s keeping with the Avengers theme by having Paul Bettany and Aaron Taylor-Johnson on his sofa. Property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, actor Stephen Mangan and singer Rita Ora will also appear.
Everyone is talking about… last night’s Grey’s Anatomy shocker
Medical drama Grey’s Anatomy shocked the nation when a long beloved main character was killed last night in a dramatic twist.
It didn’t go down too well AT ALL.
Whoops!
