What to watch on TV today: Monday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Republic of Telly (RTE 2, 9.55pm)

It’s back, with a brand new series presented by Kevin McGahern and Joanne McNally. There will be the usual sketches and slagging of the telly, as well as newbie Ed Sammon making his big debut.

University Challenge (BBC 1, 8pm)

The quarter final matches begin. What better way to relax on a Monday evening than attempting to appear smart?

Fresh Meat (Channel 4, 10pm)

The final series of the Channel 4 comedy continues. JP hires a revision barge and Vodstock is off to a fighting start.

Everyone is talking about… This mini Buffy reunion

Buffy the Vampire Slayer debuted 19 years ago, and has lived in our hearts since then. Three of the gang got together over the weekend at a fan convention in Paris and have been giving us nostalgia bumps.

Cordelia, Xander, and Spike all posed for photos and now we’re all geared up for a 20 year special anniversary show next year. THANKS.

Or switch over for…

Eureka! The Big Bang Query (RTE 2, 10.15pm) Science laughs with Dermot Whelan and Aoibhinn Ni Shilleabhain.

The People v OJ Simpson, American Crime Story (BBC 2, 1pm) The surprisingly excellent drama continues.

Secrets of Cadbury (Channel 4, 8pm) Wtf is going on with Cadbury Creme Eggs? It’s one of the many questions this documentary will attempt to find out.

The Enemy Files (RTE 1, 9.35pm) A view of the Rising from a British perspective.
