What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Dark Knight (TV 3, 9pm)

The second of Christopher Nolan’s Batman triology sees Heath Ledger in his prime as the Joker, up against Christian Bale’s Batman. Will the people of Gotham be saved? Of course they will.

The Last Leg (Channel 4, 10pm)

The lads tear into this week’s events, tearing them down until there’s nothing left but weeping satire. What makes it all the more special though, is that presenters Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker will be joined by Amy Poehler, our best friend.

Highlights from T in the Park 2015 (BBC 2, 11.30pm)

Angela Scanlon and Clara Amfo present the biggest and best from this year’s festival at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire to get you in the Longitute mood.
