What to watch on TV tonight: Friday
Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Graham Norton Show (BBC 1, 10.35pm)
Kerry boy Michael Fassbender will be joining Graham on the couch. The Steve Jobs star will be accompanied by co-star Kate Winslet, and Julie Walters will join them to chat about Brooklyn. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL. Ellie Goulding and 50 Cent will also be on hand for chats. We need a lie down.
TFI Friday (Channel 4, 8pm)
The house party continues as Chris Evans is joined by Elton John, Julianne Moore and Stanley Tucci. Music is from the Maccabees and 5 Seconds of Summer.
Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)
This week, the lads are watching SAS Who Dares Wins, The Great Pottery Throw Down, University Challenge and the Antiques Roadshow. It never gets old.
Everyone is talking about… The John Lewis ad, of course
It’s finally here, and it’s making everyone cry in work. Watch it here:
Or flick over for…
The Late Late Show (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm) Guests include Steph and Dom from Gogglebox, and Des Bishop.
Mom (RTÉ 2, 8.30pm) New series about a former alcoholic that’s gas and touching all at once, starring Allison Janney.
Shallow Hal (RTÉ 2, 9pm) In this movie, Jack Black plays a man who is really shallow and only goes for super hot women, despite being Jack Black. Gwyneth Paltrow is put in a fat suit to make her unattractive, so it basically sums up modern Hollywood. Watch it!
Have I Got News for You (BBC 2, 9pm) Kathy Burke hosts.
Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (UTV Ireland, 9pm) Actress Raquel Welch sits down with Piers.
Alan Carr Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm) Bradley Coopet, Sienna Miller and Justin Bieber are on.
