Kids Behind Bars (UTV, 9pm)
Documentary exploring America’s youngest and most dangerous criminals. The crew unravel the lives of a select few inmates in Indiana’s Eabash Correctional Facility, which is home to 40 teens serving as much as 65 years. Expect a lot of self-reflection and some harrowing insights as these teens come to terms with a bleak future. #kidsbehindbars
In The Club (BBC 1, 9pm)
This new six-part drama sees six pregnant women preparing for parenthood. All lead drastically different lives with different circumstances to come to terms with. However, they all cross paths during weekly prenatal class. Written by Fat Friends creator Kay Mellor, expect plenty of plot twists. #intheclub
Kitchen Hero: Rediscovering the Irish Kitchen (8.30pm, RTÉ 1)
Donal Skehan’s galavant around Ireland comes to a close, tonight he learns about cooking in a domestic service from Patricia Quinn Murphy who began her culinary career in a Wexford house at 16, while baking a Gur Cake. Listen, there’s food, we’re there. Goodbye Donal, we miss you already.
Everybody’s talking about: Glue
Tipped by many as the new Skins, or at least a drama to fill the Skins void, Glue is the latest series from This Is England creator Jack Thorne’s mind. Described as a tale of “ambition, hope, darkness and anarchy”, the drama is set in country village where local teenagers are risk takers, daredevils, and get up to general divilment. When a body is found under tractor, everything unravels. The trailer has just been released today and anticipation is high.
