What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Reconnected Returns (RTÉ 2, 10pm)

Missing Reconnected, the surprisingly good RTE reality show of last year? Tonight, we get to check in with the six stars and find out what they’ve been up to for the past year and how the show changed their lives.

First Dates, The Proposal (Channel 4, 9pm)

It’s a Christmas party special. A host of old names are brought back to check in, while those who were unlucky in love get another chance. Remember the couple that hit it off last week? They’re getting MARRIED. Give us strength.

This is the End (Comedy Central, 10pm)

Comedy starring everyone in the world. Think Seth Rogen, James Franco, Rihanna, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Cera, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill Paul Rudd, Mindy Kaling, Channing Tatum, The Backstreet Boys, etc etc etc. The good news? It involves them getting hit with the apocalypse and it’s super funny.
