The Long Shot (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm)
Horse owner David Keoghan, aka Cecila Ahern’s fella, examines one of Ireland’s best loved sports, horse-racing. Shot over three years, this documentary will look at what it takes to make it in the biz, with tips and insights from some of the sport’s biggest names.
The Three Day Nanny (Channel 4, 8pm)
This new series is a bit like supernanny. Child expert Kathryn Mewes goes into a household with bold kids and puts an action plan into place to introduce some much-needed order back into homes.
Child Genius, the final (Channel 4, 9pm)
The final five kid geniuses go head to head to find out who is the brightest in Britain. Watch, and feel inadequate.
Everyone is talking about… Esther Jenner
Caitlyn Jenner’s much awaited documentary premiered on E! in the States yesterday. The series will follow Jenner as she introduces herself to her family all over again, since undergoing a gender transition. There was a mixed reception, but everyone could agree on one thing.
Jenner’s mum Esther was the absolute star of the show.
The 89-year-old initially struggled to accept her new daughter, and kept referring to her as a he. But she came around eventually after talking it out.
