What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Agent Carter (RTÉ Two, 6.15pm)

Captain American fan? You might like Agent Carter, a TV spin-off of the Captain America franchise. Set in the 1940s, it stars Hayley Atwell as a woman balancing life as a single woman and secret agent. It’s fun and it’s total eye candy — what more could you want?

The 40-Year-Old Virgin (TV3, 9pm)

The 40-Year-Old Virgin is the film that propelled the Apatow pack to mainstream stardom and, ten years, later, it is still good for an old chuckle. Besides, you know you can still recite the quotes from the chest wax scene.

Get Him To The Greek (E4, 9pm)

If The 40-Year-Old Virgin doesn’t quite take your fancy, flick over to E4 and tune into Get Him To The Greek. Starring Jonah Hill and Russell Brand, this madcap rock comedy is worth watching for P. Diddy’s contributions alone. #GetHimToTheGreek

Everyone’s talking about… thisdotey John Lewis ad

John Lewis sure have a knack for making ads that will melt your heart.

Their latest ad features a dotey little girl dancing rather clumsily around her house while Elton John’s Tiny Dancer play.

It’s lovely.
