What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Charlie Brooker’s 2015 Wipe (BBC Two, 10pm)

The incomparable Charlie Brooker casts his sardonic eye back on the year that was and looks back on the general election, the rise of Jeremy Corbyn, Cecil The Lion and other stories that consumed us in 2015.

The Nathan Carter Show (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

In this Christmas special, the face of country music in Ireland performs songs, surprises fans and offers to sing at a bride-to-be’s wedding. Enough to have you rocking like a wagon wheel.

Red Rock (TV3, 8.30pm)

It’s basically mandatory for soaps to save their grimmest storylines for the festive season. In tonight’s Red Rock, one of the soap’s main characters gets stabbed. Who will it be? Only one way to find out. #RedRock
