Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 9.35pm)
On tonight’s show, Graham chats to Carey Mulligan, Noomi Rapace and Amanda Holden, with music from the great Jessie Ware. Apparently Amanda Holden revealed a Simon Cowell tattoo on her thigh? We don’t know either. #grahamnorton
Later: With Jools Holland (BBC Two, 11.35pm)
The late night music extravaganza returns — hurrah! Jools is joined by resurgent Britpop icons Blur, folk singer Laura Marling, The Vaccines and Natalie Prass. Soft Cell’s Marc Almond is also on hand to perform a little number with Jools. #joolsholland
The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
And to complete your late night viewing… Ryan is joined by Stacey Solomon, Leigh Arnold and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin. He will also chat to Irish actress Kerry Condon, who can currently be seen in Better Call Saul. Stick on the kettle. #latelate
Everyone’s talking about… SJP’s return to TV
Over a decade since Sex and the City’s end, Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to television. Praise be the Lord!
Yesterday, HBO announced that it had picked up Divorce, a comedy series starring the actress. The series is created by Sharon Horgan (COYBIG!) and is about a woman who begins to reassess everything in her life.
It will also star Thomas Haden Church and Molly Shannon, and will begin shooting later this year. (TIME)
Or flick over for…
- Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm) WILL SILENT JAY RETURN?
-
Bad Teacher (RTÉ 2, 9pm) Cameron Diaz plays a hard-living teacher who wants to save up for boob implants. Sure.
- The Clare Balding Show (BBC Two, 10pm) The BBC sports presenter chats with none other than our very own Brian O’Driscoll.
- Alan Carr: Chatty Man (Channel 4, 10pm) The bespectacled host talks to Paddy McGuinness and Taraji P. Henson.
- Tales of the Grim Sleeper (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) Acclaimed documentary about a Los Angeles serial killer. Typical Friday night fare, really.
