A mum, a disgraced TV presenter, a musician, and a teenager all cross paths on New Year’s Eve when they meet at a notorious suicide spot. They all agree they will be alive until Valentine’s Day, but some unexpected barriers pop up. Black comedy, based on Nick Hornby’s novel.
Thor (Channel 4, 8pm)
Chris Hemsworth plays the Marvel God. Stay tuned for Hiddleswift member Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
The Secret Agent (BBC 1, 9pm)
Just what you need. A new period drama. This one is based on the novels of Joseph Conrad and tonight we get part one of three. It’s about, you guessed it, a Secret Agent. We’re told fans of Sherlock will be all over it.
