What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Crufts 2015 (Channel 4, 7.30pm)

Forget the Super Bowl or the All-Ireland — Crufts is the sporting event of the year. Channel 4 presents coverage of the second day of the pooch spectacular, including highlights from the Agility and Flyball events. Is there anything better than watching little dogs jump hurdles? WE THINK NOT.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

It’s that time of the week again and Ryan is joined by a smorgasbord of celebrities tonight. Ryan will chat to self-proclaimed Irish man Piers Morgan, Great British Bake Off’s Mary Berry (<3) and boxing great Katie Taylor. Quite the motley crew then.

The Graham Norton Show Comic Relief Special (BBC One, 10.35pm)

Tonight’s episode of Graham Norton is all about Comic Relief, as Graham chats with Jack Dee, Jennifer Saunders, David Walliams and more on the thirtieth anniversary of the fundraiser. Cheryl Fernandez Versini (née Cole) will also make an appearance and wear some “funny” eyebrows.

Everybody’s talking about… Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

The Tina Fey-penned comedy launched on Netflix today and people are already in the midst of binge-watching it. The show stars Ellie Kemper as a recent cult escapee and follows her as she tries to make her life in New York City.

That’s your weekend viewing sorted, so.

Or flick over for…

  • Phone Booth (RTÉ Two, 10pm) Cosy up with some vintage Farrell.
  • District 9 (Film 4, 10.50pm) For those who can’t be bothered going to see Chappie this weekend.
  • Artsnight (BBC Two, 11pm) Arts show will feature a panel on women in television, amongst other things.
  • First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm) Embrace the cringe.
