What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Eurovision Song Contest 2017 (RTÉ One, 8pm)

Happy Eurovision Day! Ireland may not be involved, but that doesn’t matter because this year’s contest has everything from yodel rap to an electronic/gypsy number. Italy and Portugal are the favourites, but there’s always room for surprises at Eurovision. #eurovision

12 Years A Slave (Channel 4, 9pm)

If you really don’t fancy watching Eurovision, then flick over to Channel 4 for the total polar opposite. This Oscar-winning film is a powerful, poignant exploration of slavery with tremendous performances from Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender and Lupita Nyong’o.

Britain’s Got Talent (TV3, 8pm)
