What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

World Athletics Championships 2017 (BBC One, 6.30pm)

It’s the biggest night of the championships with world record holder Usain Bolt bidding farewell to athletics with his final 100m race. The semi final is at 7pm and the final is at 9.45pm. Elsewhere, we’ll be treated to the 10,000m women’s race and men’s long jump finals.

Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie (BBC One, 10.20pm)

Unfamiliar with the film adaptation of Mrs Brown’s Boys? You’re in luck. Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie is on BBC One tonight and follows Mrs Brown and the crew as they attempt to save Moore Street. G’wan. Let your curiosity get the better of you.

Billy Connolly: Portrait of a Lifetime (BBC Two, 9pm)

In which three artists prepare unique portraits of the beloved comedian. Who wouldn’t want to watch Billy Connolly interact with a multimedia artist, eh?
